KONA
Aloha!At the end of March I had the opportunity to meet the newest member of the Hyundai family - the 2018 KONA - thanks to my friends over at Open Road Hyundai. 
A NEW BREED.
Hyundai says that they have developed the KONA to be a new breed of SUV that is designed to take on the city. With the KONA you get the best of both worlds. You get the agility of a car and the higher seating of an SUV.Navigating through city traffic or highway traffic was a breeze in the KONA. One of the things I loved most about the KONA was the handling. It has a lot of pep when you need it. The KONA is great on fuel, even in sport mode - which is where I pretty much lived for the week.I loved that I was able to fit into any parking spot the city could throw at me.If you live in the Vancouver area like me and have the ocean and the mountains both in your backyard, this is the perfect vehicle. Let the AWD kick in as you head for the slopes or keep it in ECO mode for bombing along the ocean.

The interior of the car has a number of cool features that we have come to start to expect in 2018 - but not always in the price range that the KONA is in. It has a beautiful touch screen display that you can use with your smartphone with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. I got the 1.6T Ultimate model which includes Head-Up Display and a wireless charging pad for charging your device...now I just need to get myself an iPhone X ;)From Tangerine Comet to Blue Lagoon, the KONA comes in a wide spectrum of colours that will help you stand out on the road as you make your way through any urban jungle you may find yourself in.
